For the second straight season, the Wolverines are kings of Utah Valley.

Utah Valley University guard Justin Harmon scored 19 points to lead the Wolverine men’s basketball team to a 75-60 victory over crosstown rivals Brigham Young University on Wednesday night in Provo. The win marks the first time UVU has beaten BYU in consecutive matchups.

"BYU is a great team and they are extremely tough at home," said Utah Valley head coach Mark Madsen. "Our guys played well and shot the ball well. We played with great passion. We have great respect for the BYU program. I can't say enough about the players in this program. Every player that went on the court tonight contributed."

Center Aziz Bandaogo added 14 points and 7 rebounds for the Wolverines, who took a 46-45 lead with 12:24 left in the game and never trailed again. UVU erased an 11-point first-half deficit to claim the victory by outscoring the Cougars 41-22 in the second half.
